I'm a PhD candidate at the University of Missouri (Columbia). My area of specialization is in formal social epistemology. At present, my research uses agent-based models to investigate objections to the reliability of open-mindedness. I'm also interested in how laypeople ought to adjust their beliefs or credences — given that they should do so at all — when the experts they rely upon disagree.

On the side, I am also interested in the philosophy of science and the philosophy of religion. My current work in the former is a joint venture with several colleagues regarding the impact of big science initiatives on the philosophy of science. My recently published work in the latter presses a dilemma against those who hold a particular view of Hell.
